The spinner already proved his mettle in the Tamil Nadu Premier League and grabbed the attention of the Kings XI Punjab owners, who to quite a surprise, bid up to 8.4 Crores for him during the IPL auction thereby making him the highest bid this year among all players.
2. Prabhsimran Singh
Hailing from the city of Patiala in Punjab, this 18 year old managed to bag a massive contract of 4.8 Crores, again with the Kings XI Punjab and has the chance of being their prominent wicketkeeper this coming season.
3. Shivam Dubey
A consistent performer in the Indian first class cricket tournament – the Ranji Trophy, Dubey got picked up by Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping 5 Cr and is expected to make some big shots this season due to the reputation that precedes him.
4. Kamlesh Nagarkoti
Although he was taken into the squad of Kolkata Knight Riders in the auction of 2018, he was unable to play due to an injury. That is more than likely to change this season as he seems to have recovered well and the franchise has shown great trust in him by renewing his contract by another year even before seeing his performance in India’s biggest sports league.
