Reality TV show Bigg Boss 15 concluded on October 30, with actor Tejasswi Prakash taking home the winner’s trophy. The popular and charming actress defeated Pratik Sehajpal and Karan Kundra to win the coveted title and a grand prize of ₹40 lakhs. The victory was made even more special with the announcement during the finale that she had been roped in to play the lead role in Season 6 of Ekta Kapoor’s popular TV show Naagin.
Tejasswi was a total entertainer throughout her journey in the Bigg Boss house. She kept audiences engaged with her wit and charm. Her chemistry with TV actor and Bigg Boss co-star Karan Kundra was loved by fans. The two fell in love in the house and their relationship was the high point of the show. The couple often trended on social media with the hashtag #TeJRan.
An episode that particularly grabbed eyeballs was from Salman Khan’s Weekend Ka War in which he predicted that Tejasswi and Karan’s relationship would not last even a month. The prophecy didn’t come true and the actors continue to go strong even after their stint on the show has ended.
Tejasswi was always a strong contender for the winner’s trophy because of her fearless and never-give-up attitude and huge fan base. Being strong-headed, she never shied away from voicing her views.
She won praise from the audience for never losing her calm during confrontations with contestants and expressing her views without being offensive or resorting to abusive language.
However, the actress hit a new low after she age-shamed actress Shamita Shetty on the show. The fight erupted after Tejasswi spotted Shamita giving beau Karan a massage as a part of a task.
Tejasswi has featured in many TV shows like Swargini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, Karn Sangini, and Pehredaar Piya Ki. Her fan following shot up after she participated in the stunt-based show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ Season 10.
