Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor delighted fans with an adorable Christmas gift – they revealed daughter Raha’s face at the traditional Christmas lunch hosted by the Kapoor family in Juhu, Mumbai. The blue-eyed Raha made her debut in front of the paparazzi, cradled in her father’s arms and occasionally reaching out to affectionately touch Ranbir’s face, marking the first occasion where the family of three posed together in front of cameras. The Kapoors and the Nandas, Bollywood’s leading families, had come together for a fam-jam at Kunal Kapoor’s annual Christmas lunch at his Mumbai residence.
The family photos posted by the actors on Instagram, capture endearing moments between Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and their daughter Raha who took centre stage in a charming pink and white dress featuring a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer motif, complemented by festive red velvet shoes. The paparazzi erupted in cheers as the celebrity trio made a grand entrance. Until now the couple had chosen to keep their daughter away from the limelight.
In attendance at the family gathering was Aadar Jain accompanied by his new girlfriend Alekha Advani, Navya Naveli Nanda with her brother Agastya Nanda and father Nikhil Nanda, Shashi Kapoor’s grandson Zahan Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, along with her father Randhir Kapoor and mother Babita, and children Samaira and Kiaan Raj Kapoor, and Armaan Jain and his wife Anissa with their newborn baby, and Ranbir’s aunt Rima Jain.
Ranbir Kapoor opted for black pants and tee paired with a grey jacket, while Alia donned a floral blue short dress teamed with a Christmas-themed headband. The photographers extended heartfelt Christmas wishes to Raha, and Ranbir guided his daughter to greet them with a warm gesture.
Since the reveal, social media has been buzzing with discussions about her. Fans can’t get enough of Raha’s charming blue eyes, with some noting the resemblance with her great-grandfather, Raj Kapoor.
In recent interviews, Ranbir has been expressing his immense joy on becoming a father. He frequently shares pictures of his interactions with Raha. In a recent revelation, the actor shared that he has permanently inked his daughter’s name onto his collarbone.
On Tuesday morning, Raha, accompanied by her parents, set off to an undisclosed destination to celebrate the New Year. Ranbir was spotted at the Kalina private airport in Mumbai, stepping out of a vehicle and acknowledging the camera with a friendly wave and a thumbs-up gesture.
Dressed in a chic charcoal black sweatshirt and sweatpants paired with oversized sunglasses, Ranbir showcased his stylish ensemble. At the same time, Alia was busy holding Raha in her arms. Raha, who was sleeping peacefully, was granted only a fleeting glimpse to the photographers, who could only spot her pigtails, pink hair accessories, and a matching dress. While Alia didn’t interact extensively with the paparazzi, she did glance back, sharing a smile before making her way into the airport terminal.
