Allu Arjun’s performance throughout the movie is impeccable, and he’s a total stunner throughout the movie. His character has all the masala that keeps the audience glued to their screens during the three-long-hour show. His audacious and fearless persona, never-say-die attitude, and charisma bring him a fortune and win him the confidence of even the red sandalwood smugglers.
In the first part of the film, Allu Arjun portrays a fearless guy with a badass charm. His epic dialogue delivery, comic timing, and his ‘Jhukega Nahi… attitude is all that makes his character interesting.
The plot also delves into why red sandalwood is considered vital for Japanese culture and how it’s smuggled illegally from India. The plot picks up pace after Pushpa is kicked out of his menial job because of his arrogant, ruthless, and, unbending behaviour.
He later lands the highly-paid but risky job of cutting red sandalwood. The first face-off with the cops on his first day of the job and the action sequence is worth watching. The scenes show how bluntly he faces the cops and single-handedly manages to prevent the wood from being seized. The act of heroism makes him stand out from the rest of the woodcutters and raises his stature among the smugglers.
The romance between Pushpa and Srivalli, played by Rashmika Mandana, somewhat lightens up the story. Both actors play their charms to give the audience a little relaxed time from all the wilderness of the forest, goons, deception plans, and cops. As the story unfolds, Pushpa attempts to fight the head boss’ brother Jolly for the sake of Srivalli and faces off with the top dealer to get more profits by eliminating the profiteers.
The song ‘Sammi Sammi’ and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s item number add a dose of glamour to the plot. Oo Antaava oo oo antaava song, brilliantly choreographed by Vijay Polanki and directed by the famous choreographer Ganesh Acharya has garnered millions of views on its Telegu and Hindi version. The Hindi dubbed song, ‘Teri Jhalak Asharfi Srivalli Naina Madak Barfi’, is doing rounds on Instagram reels as people groove to the music and hook step.
