Actor Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2 after suffering a massive heart attack. He was just 40. The Bigg Boss 13 winner was rushed to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The actor is survived by his mother and two sisters.
Born in 1980 in Mumbai, Sidharth initially started out as an interior designer, before switching careers to take up modelling. His acting journey began with a lead role in the 2008 TV serial Babul Ka Aangan Chootey Na. Roles in more TV serials followed. A chance to act in the 2014 Bollywood movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania further cemented Sidharth’s position in Bollywood.
Sidharth Shukla’s big break in the entertainment industry came with his role in the long-running TV show Balika Vadhu. However, he became the heartthrob of millions after winning the reality show Bigg Boss 13.
His sudden death left most people shaken, with a majority expressing their grief and shock on social media.
