She was a beggar, sitting at the railway station, before she become a sensation.

Her name is “Ranu Mariah Mandal”. Her story has been fairytale so far, as life has given her a new meaning. It all started when a man named Atindra Chakraborty, recorded Ranu Mandal singing Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic song Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma at Kolkata’s Ranaghat railway station on his phone and uploaded the video on social media. The video went viral soon after he uploaded it.She has became an internet sensation, as people were blown away by her unbelievable voice.
Her journey started from a railway platform and then led to a viral social media sensation. It has now led her to Bollywood, as she was noticed by Himesh Reshammiya, with whom she is now working and some of the sources have revealed that the famous singer director has recorded at least 5 to 6 songs with her.
Her video of her singing Lata Mangeshkar’s popular 1972 track ‘Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai’ has earned over 2 million views. It is rumoured Salman khan gave her a house worth 55 lakhs.She has become a popular personality in the Bollywood as a singer.
The lady in her fifties caught the nation’s attention overnight. Before her stardom began, she was living on the road side and was dependent on charities to make her ends meet.
