How To Tame Those Tresses

We all are gifted with different types of skin, hair, face, etc. all together every being has their own specific needs. So, when it comes to hair many are truly gifted with thick luxurious hair, but many aren’t. And frizz is one of the problems that we all have to go through and keep trying various methods to tame that frizz. It is commonly due to dryness of hair and mostly occurs in humid weather. The reason for which is the moisture in the air that the hair reaches out for causing fizziness of hair.

The use of chemicals for such hair type makes it worse by ripping it off the natural oils. Here are a few home remedies to calm your tresses with good conditioning.

1. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

Your hair has an acidic pH level ranging between 4.5 and 5.5. But as soon as it starts turning alkaline the cuticles open up leading to frizziness. So, what you can do is to mix 2 tablespoons of ACV to water and as you finish washing your hair just rinse your hair with this solution. Let it stay in the hair for some time, rinse and air-dry your hair. Use it once or twice weekly for best results.

2. Coconut Oil

The lauric acid in Coconut helps bring back the moisture to the hair reducing protein loss. You may use it as an overnight mask or just use some generous amount of it an hour before you wash your hair. Massage your hair gently and let the magic begin.

3. Argan Oil

The unsaturated fatty acids in argan oil help keep up with the hair moisture. It also has vitamin E as an antioxidant, evenly distributing the oil across the lengths of your hair for best results. You can use it before styling your hair just with using a few drops.

4. Avocado

This superfruit is high on some truly beneficial ingredients like vitamin A and E. It hydrates and tames the frizz leaving soft and silky hair. Mash some avocado and mix coconut oil (dry scalp) or yoghurt (oily scalp), it should be of a mask-like consistency. Apply the mask and leave it on for around half an hour. Wash it off with your regular shampoo and enjoy your amazing hair.

5. Eggs & Almond Oil

Eggs are multifunctional items that can be used in a variety of food materials. And not to forget how amazing they are for your hair, as they are high in saturated fats, biotin, and vitamins. Mix the two until you achieve a smooth texture, start applying on your hair section by section to the lengths of your hair. Leave it on for about half an hour to let the hair absorb the richness. Shampoo thoroughly to get rid of the smell and look at how well the hair feels.
