How Bollywood A-Listers Celebrated Durga Puja 

Bollywood celebrates Durga Puja with gusto each year – celebrities come together and participate in the festivities with aplomb, visiting pandals and seeking the blessings of Goddess Durga, while looking their best. This year also, their enthusiasm was infectious, prompting us to feature the leading actors who made the festivities memorable. 

The stunning splendour of the pandals this year was matched with the revelry of Bollywood’s leading celebrities as they offered their respects to Goddess Durga. The A-listers exhibited their flawless style, impressing observers with their elegance and clothing choices.

Hema Malini

The legendary ‘Dream Girl,’ Hema Malini, made a splendid appearance at the event in a timeless silk Kanjeevaram sari. Her aubergine-hued sari, enriched with a golden border, was truly captivating. Joining her was daughter Esha Deol, who shone in a cream ensemble teamed with a half-sleeve blouse adorned with sequins. Hema accessorised her outfit with exquisite golden jewellery, while Esha chose a pearl necklace. Their flawless makeup and neatly tied buns embodied grace and beauty to the fullest.

Katrina Kaif

Katrina chose to wear a vibrant yellow saree made from cotton and tissue silk, featuring striking golden borders. 

The actress left her hair flowing freely and accessorised her outfit with dangling earrings that complemented her appearance. She responded to her fans’ greetings by waving at them even as she posed next to the idol for the paparazzi. 

Rani Mukherjee

Rani Mukherjee wore a set of graceful sarees each day at the pandal.

She opted for a cotton-silk saree in beige. Standing next to her ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ co-star Sharvari Wagh, the pair appeared absolutely stunning as they gracefully posed for the photographers.

The actor and former Miss Universe hopped pandals, exuding elegance in a pink saree  accentuated by a silver border. The Aarya star elevated the excitement by engaging in the Dhunuchi dance amidst the bustling crowd at the venue.

Kajol

Kajol was spotted donning a blouse that perfectly matched her attire. She opted for minimal accessories, adorning elegant drop earrings, ensuring that the saree remained the focal point of her ensemble. Her impeccably styled bun and subtle nude makeup harmonised the entire look, making her look captivating.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam, as always, appeared exceptionally stunning in a red suit specially chosen for the occasion. She perfected her appearance with classic jewellery and a sleek hairstyle.
