The Coronavirus has brought the world to a standstill position where offices apart from the essential services have been closed for the time being. All are trying their best to get things done in the easiest way possible. It was once considered as a far-sighted thing to have to teach or learn through online medium, but now it is the reality of our lives where we are stuck at home with no other option left.
Even when things might look better in some time schools won’t be accessible to students for some time. Scientists working on the vaccine are yet to figure out how they can help flatten the curve. So what is left to us is just sitting at home and learning new things here.
Homeschooling has been into practice for many years but it was never considered the authentic way of learning but gradually might become the best approach to learning. Teachers have to learn and unlearn their tricks of teaching at school as they get used to sitting in front of a screen while they address their students helping them study. It has also made things tricky for kids as they are now expected to be in sync with their classmates and teachers.
Exams are also being held online leaving very less for the others to think and question. But as we know we are a huge population with many not earning well to provide their children the modern modes of learning, such families will require extra care.
The main motive should be to impart education for all with making modes of distance education available to all. This should be adopted as the new way of living without letting it dampen the spirits of our young learners, help them stay motivated and on the edge with the world.
Education for all even at the comfort of your home!
