Surgical Masks
Typically, these single-use masks cover your nose, mouth and jawline. In the case of Coronavirus, it has shown to be effective in minimising the chances of disease expansion.

Cloth Masks
It might not be as effective as the other masks as it leaves gaps near the nose, cheeks and jaw. It has been observed to let tiny droplets pass through it easily. But, yes they are better than a no mask situation.

Can we use Homemade Masks?
Yes, homemade masks do work as a shield against the COVID-19. A mask made from cotton fabric with two layers of cotton fabric folded multiple times. Thicker the mask fabric the more effective it is, still, always keep in mind that it should be breathable at the same time.
