The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
Based on the novella Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King was a bit of a slow burner. Received various award nominations and critical acclaim, the movie grew into a marvellous piece that we know of today.
The Lord of the Rings (2001-2003)
The successful adaptation with more than 30 Oscar nominations based on J.R.R Tolkien’s epic fantasy trilogy. It brings on the world of fantasy and keeps the viewers glued to the screens allowing them the time of life to enjoy the wholesomeness of the content.
To Kill A Mockingbird (1962)
The Pulitzer prize winner movie is considered to be one of the best films of all time, Harper Lee’s adapted movie has a strong social message, but never sacrifices gripping drama. The film won three Oscars, including Best Screenplay and Best Actor for Gregory Peck’s brilliant portrayal of Atticus Finch.
