Airlines Ban Kunal Kamra From Flying

“Think before we speak” is a motto we have been taught while growing up.  This motto didn’t seem to go down well with comedian Kunal Kamra. Some weeks ago, Kunal Kamra had raised questions about Arnab’s coverage of issues on national affairs and Rohith Vermula’s suicide. This caused havoc with the airlines, which lead him to being ban from flying most airlines.

Furthermore, to make matters worse, or at least to clarify things, Kamra released a video of the incident, which showed, while being questioned, Arnab remained silent, on Twitter. Arnab hadn’t filed a complaint nor did he ask the airlines to intervene. However, most airlines didn’t think twice about making an informed decision and banned Kamra from flying with them for the next six months. The only airlines who hadn’t banned him were AirAsia and Vistara, as they were waiting for orders from the government.

With this ban, Anurag Kashyap, the filmmaker refused to fly Indigo. The Indigo pilot stated that Kamra misbehaved and took action without discussing with the pilot- in- command. After Anurag, two Indigo passengers began protesting by displaying placards in the plane, supporting Kamra, requesting the ban to be lifted.

Kamra was exercising his right to speech, which has caused damage to Arnab’s inflated ego. Furthermore, he says he is not sorry and has not done any wrong.
