The superstar Amitabh Bachchan was rejected by film makers due to his height and All India Radio rejected him for his voice at the time of audition for Radio Jockey.Later on he got a role on his first movie “Saat Hindustani” and was steadily climbing the ladder of success.In 1982 he met with an accident at the time of shooting of film Coolie.This accident proved to be near a death experience with a bad case of intestinal injury.He survived and recovered and become the superstar.
In 1995 Amitabh Bachchan started Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Ltd (ABCL) that specialized in film production and event management. The company burst into the limelight in 1996 when it was responsible for bringing to India Miss World pageant, but was then mired with controversy when the company was not able to pay its dues.
Amitabh Bachchan said,” In the year 2000, when the entire world was celebrating the new century ,I was celebrating my disastrous fortune. There were no films, no money, no company, a million legal cases against and the tax authorities had put notice of recovery on my home.”
He had financial crunches in the year 2000 at the age of 57 and become bankrupt but he never give up and came back and made a fresh start through “Kaun Banega Crorepati” and film “Mohabbatein.” His hard work finally paid off and this was the time when Big B change the trend and perception of stars who choose the television shows in their career apart from films.
Conclusion : His hard work and determination is what worked for him.Now he is a legend of our Bollywood and his voice is his identity.He has gone through several failures and struggle in life but his never given up attitude makes him a successful Bollywood personality even after so many ups and downs in his life.
