As the festival of Holi is approaching the impending danger of coronavirus can be seen gripping the country yet again. The numbers have been multiplying at a very rapid speed with the government being compelled to take strict actions against people who are not following the set guidelines. Cities like Mumbai, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha have already banned Public celebrations on the festival. All may celebrate the festivities with their loved ones relishing Gujiyas, Burfi, and Thandai indoors.
• People with any symptoms of cold or fever are advised to stay put indoors.
• Keep the celebration among a limited number of people.
• Avoid the use of watercolours.
• Do not take off your masks.
• Maintain social distancing and don’t let people smear colours on your face directly.
• Avoid eating anything until you take a shower and use sanitiser before touching any food item.
• All should avoid shaking hands and hugging.
• If possible get yourself tested before mingling with people.
• Keep a sanitiser near the food items so that people can sanitise before eating.
